My care has been excellent throughout.
- Given time to explain problems through unhurried consultations.
- The belief that you are treated as an individual and not just a number.
I can't see how it could be improved, everything is excellent, reassuring and I am always kept in the picture and I have the impression that they really care about their patients.
The doctor is approachable and interested.
I am confident that she investigates problems fully and refers me for tests as required.
She follows up tests and arranges return appointments until problems dealt with.
Long wait between patients why?
It is good to be listened to.
Much preferred doctors prior to computers diagnosis seems to be by computer not.
I would like - when the doctor has heard what I have to say - then face to face tell me instead of the computer. A discussion person to person.
When one goes to reception and asks for an appointment and then repeatedly on is told there is no appointment - what is the good of that? when one is in need of one right there and then not next week or even tomorrow? told you can go to A and E!
No wonder A and E are overworked.
With regard to the new clinic - was it really necessary? half of it "to let"! what a waste - we were told we would not have to trail for X-rays etc but we still do and hot to get to it - the bus service so poor it takes 4 hours to attend a short appointment. Not progress.
